Different Caption levels for List of Tables & Figures
I have a large document that has a number of tables and figures in it. Some
chapters only have one of either in it and I want the label to be, ie Table 1.1 Some chapters have two or more, I want the label to be Table 2.1.1, 2.2.2. But it seems to me it has to be one or the other, because the Table 1.1 then changes to Table 1.1.1!! Also how can I generate the Lists to include both levels? Really appreciate your help. -- Cheza |

Your observation is correct: when you add heading (chapter) numbering with
