Table of Contents (TOC)
I am editing a word document (Microsoft Word 2003) to which I am not the
original author. The Table of Contents (TOC) is centering vertically on the page. This is causing extra line spacing on the second page of the TOC. The text on the second page of the TOC should take up half the page, but it is forced to fill the entire page [top to bottom]. How do I turn off / unformat this? -- thanks, Linda |

On the Layout tab of the Page Setup dialog, make sure "Vertical alignment"
is set to Top, not Center or Justified (can't tell from your description which is the problem). -- Suzanne S.
