I'm (attempting) to patch together 28 separate Word 2007 documents into one
big doc. It's going okay -- though I'd love any advice for making it easier.
I'm using insert/object/text from file to add each new element.

But the headers and footers don't show in Print layout view, and neither
does the actual page formatting (e.g., the titles (not headers) for each new
section are 30pts down from the top, but they look like they're at the very
top of the page). (Same thing is true when I just copy and paste the desired
material instead of using insert/object/etc.)

Headers, footers, and actual layout do show in Print Preview, and they print
out fine . . . why can't I see them???
