How do I get a word out of the default dictionary without reinsta.
I want to remove a word from MS Word's default dictionary. Is this possible.
The dictionary used to flag the "word" thru a misspelled. Now it's not. I don't understand why. I have no custom dictionaries. |

It is not possible to remove words from the default dictionary - only from
the user dictionary. Are you sure you have no custom dictionaries installed? Tools options spelling and grammar. You can add words to an exclude dictionary - see Word help under "Specify a preferred spelling for a word" -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org DC Spook wrote: I want to remove a word from MS Word's default dictionary.
