Formatting Toolbar will not reappear when checking it. (Mac OSX.4
Toolbar is checked but does not show on desktop. Can't find it underneath
another toolbar. Fortunately, there is a Formatting palette! Do I need to reload Word 2004? I've intalled most recent updates. |

This type of "something's gone wrong" question is better posted on a
Mac-specific group. See here for Google/Entourage gateway to Mac-specific ngs: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/community/community.aspx?pid=newsgroups Do NOT reload Word 2004, that will not fix anything and will probably make stuff worse. If the Formatting Toolbar is there, but hidden under another toolbar or the document window, basically you need to experiment with dragging everything around until each one hits the sweet spot and drops into place--then it will be locked and stay there on restart. This is very hard to explain. If you need to reply, you will probably get quicker help if you repost your question on the MacWord group.
