I assigned book marks to the table of contents in MS Word. When I tried to
update the fields the text present under the index name in the document comes in the TOC fields. The same happens when I tried to print the page. Please help |

Troubleshooting BookMarks
Check under Tools, Options, Print and uncheck the update fields box.
This will stop the fields being updated upon Print command but not when you do a manual document update Hope this helps DeanH "Arun" wrote: I assigned book marks to the table of contents in MS Word. Troubleshooting BookMarks
Could they have inadvertently been locked?
Select the whole document, then CTRL+SHFT+F11 to unlock all fields in the document. Is Track Changes on? This will interfrere with the unpdating process.
