Default how can I open PDF Files in Word 2000?

I receive emails in PDF format and cannot open them in Word (version 2000).
Is there a way I can view these?

You need to download the free Acrobat reader from Adobe
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
Word has no means of opening such files.
