Quick Access Toolbar
In Word 2007, is there a way to increase the size of the quick access toolbar
in order to accomodate more commands? |

Quick Access Toolbar
If you put more buttons on it than it can accommodate, when you click
on the double-arrow at the right end, a second bar appears with the rest of them. But you can't make them be permanently visible. A way to deal with this would be to move the ones you use more often toward the left end, so they're always visible. (In the Customize QAT panel, select a command and use the up and down arrows on the right to change its position.) Quick Access Toolbar
It holds more buttons if placed below the ribbon rather than the default
setting above the ribbon. If you find the QAT restricting, you could always learn to modify the ribbon, - http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Customize_Ribbon.htm or buy an app to make modifying the ribbon easier e.g. http://ribboncustomizer.com/ -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org PJY wrote: In Word 2007, is there a way to increase the size of the quick access toolbar in order to accomodate more commands? |
