Activating Word over the internet.
I have a new computer and want to activate a trial version of Microsoft
Office Word 2003. The version will not connect to the internet even though I am already connected. |

Activating Word over the internet.
To download the Office 2003 trial version, click the "Get Download"
button on the web page below: http://www.microsoft.com/office/edit...dardtrial.mspx Note: You must have a fast broadband connection to download the full package. It's a 228 MB download! This package allows you the full functionality of the Office 2003 package for "approximately" (Microsoft's words, not mine) for sixty days--including being able to save/print documents. You'll also need 500 MB of free space on your hard drive to install Office 2003 on your PC. After you download/install the Microsoft Office 2003 trial version, you'll need to activate it using the MS product key listed in an email Microsoft will send to you once you register to download Office 2003 trial. The web page below details how to activate your trial version. http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/activate.mspx Or, if you wish to avoid the lengthy download, you can "test drive" an Office 2003 trial version over the Internet. You must have Internet Explorer 6 installed and have a minimum screen resolution of 1024x768 to run the online trial. Click the "Test Drive Microsoft Office" button on the web page below to run the online trial. http://www.microsoft.com/office/testdrive/default.mspx This online test version doesn't contain all the functionality of the above download package, and it won't allow you to save/print any documents you create. Good luck! Enjoy your trial software. You might also want to consider acquiring a good basic book on using Office 2003 to help you explore and test the software instead of constantly delving into the online help files. Such books will not only introduce you to the basics of Office, they can show you how the Office 2003 components work together. "TraceyTampa 3" TraceyTampa wrote in message ...
