How do I stop Word from underlining autotext inserts?
I have created a letterhead address in Word using the Insert/Autotext function.
It works fine for awhile. Then inexplicably, when I call for the insertion, it shows up with the entire text greyed out and unscored. Any clues on how to fix it? |

Create a template with your letterhead already inserted.

How do I stop Word from underlining autotext inserts?
Hi dnover,
You could try the following: - re-create the autotext; - if TRK in the status bar happens to be black, doubleclick it to make it dark grey; - close Word and remove or rename Normal.dot. Any better? Good luck, Cooz -- PS: If this is a satisfying answer to your question and you're logged in via the Microsoft site, please click Yes to "Did this post answer the question?". Thanks.
