Cursor does not move in Word document
G'Day Alistair,
letters overwrite You are in Overtype mode - press the INS key (once) to go to Insert Mode. the cursor does not move Please clarify. The Cursor is the pointer controlled by the mouse. The position where typing/deleting occurs is the Insertion Point. -- Regards, Pat Garard Melbourne, Australia _______________________ "alistair a" wrote in message ... i cannot produce a document in Word 2003 as the cursor does not move and the letters overwrite |

Cursor does not move in Word document
If the letters are piling up in a jumble, then according to contributor Bob
Buckland: "It's a bug that somehow seems to have Word misreading temporary files related to the printer currently in use. You can usually 'unscramble' the display from File=Print and switch to the printer properties or to another printer then your normal one, or close Word and delete all files found on Start=Search and looking for ~$*.*;*.tmp as the name string then restarting Word."
