Default form fields

I am building a form that has mulitple fields, some are short fields (date,
time, etc.) others are narrative. When I protect the form to try out the
fields I am having trouble with the narrative field expanding my document.
Bottom line is that I want to insert text into my formfield and not have it
modify my document. Any help would be appreciated. Bob

Put your text form fields in fixed-size table cells or frames. What you are
talking about is what Word calls an "online form." For more about online
forms, follow the links at

Chapman's series of articles. You may also want to look at

Hope this helps,
