form fields
I am building a form that has mulitple fields, some are short fields (date,
time, etc.) others are narrative. When I protect the form to try out the fields I am having trouble with the narrative field expanding my document. Bottom line is that I want to insert text into my formfield and not have it modify my document. Any help would be appreciated. Bob |

Put your text form fields in fixed-size table cells or frames. What you are
talking about is what Word calls an "online form." For more about online forms, follow the links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian Chapman's series of articles.
