If you have a new document and it is locked, you should be able to unlock from the Unprotect Document in the Tools menu. If you have had the Forms Toolbar open, you may have lock by clicking on the Lock button. -- Allan ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Allan's Profile: http://www.officehelp.in/member.php?userid=454 View this thread: http://www.officehelp.in/showthread.php?t=738785 Visit - http://www.officehelp.in | http://www.officehelp.in/archive/index.php | http://www.officehelp.in/index/index.php |

1. Who told you it was locked?
2. Sounds like it was a trial edition and you've run out of time. Nothing to do except pay for the program. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "Ed9855" wrote in message ... Unable to type a new document. Am told word is in the lock position. HELP!! Don't know what to do next. |
