Macrobuttons
How do I get rid of Macrobuttons on Word 2003? I was told to hit Ctrl + F9
in order to get them (not what I really needed), but now, every time I open a word document with form fields, the document is full of macrobuttons. I can't create page numbers, and the macrobuttons are annoying because I don't need them. Thanks in advance... |

Macrobuttons
Ctrl+F9 creates a new field--definitely not what you want. Ctrl+Shift+F9
would unlink the field--probably still not what you want. But the virtue of MacroButton fields is that you can just type over them. Click on the field, it will be selected, and you can replace it with whatever you type. I'm assuming that these are the MacroButton NoMacro type; if the field actually runs a macro (by double-clicking), you should still be able to select the entire field and Delete it. -- Suzanne S.
