Default what are the origional settings for margins in word?

I have accidentally changed the default margin settings and cannot change
them back. does anyone know what the defaults are?

Default what are the origional settings for margins in word?

I believe they are 1-1/2" L&R and 1" T&B but could be mistaken. See
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/AppErr...ocNotBlank.htm to get a
pristine "blank document" but note that you do not want to erase your old
one in case you have other customizations you want.

What happens when you go into header/footer view and try to insert AutoText
like the Filename?

File | Page setup | Margins Tab

Top and Bottom: 1"
Left and Right: 1.25"

Then Layout Tab

Header and Footer: 0.5"

Then click OK
