How do I make a box shape-shift when rotated?
I want to rotate a box, but not in the normal way where the rotated box is
still just a box. I want to box to shape-shift. While rotating the box, the box will eventually become a line if rotated far enough, then continue rotating and it becomes a box again. |

Try something like Paint.Net (http://www.getpaint.net/). -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |

Hi Kathryn,
You didn't mention the version of Word you're in (which changes the steps on how you rotate or reshape a graphic, or what you're actually trying to achieve (i.e. Word, except for using flash or a video file embedded doesn't do animation). You can the yellow diamond control on some autoshapes, such as as a parallelogram and drag it to a line or back. You can start by inserting a line and apply 3d effects to it and use the line rotation points to go to a shape and back to a line, or you can use a regular rectangle with the 3D effects. There is a Change shapes choice (for Word 2007 it's on the Drawing Tools=Format ribbon, in earlier versions it's on the Drawing Toolbar=Draw choice that lets you switch shapes but it doesn't offer the choice to change from a straight line to shape or vice versa. ========== "Kathryn Pundt" wrote in message ...
