Default Replacing bold and italics text

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there's a way in Word to replace all bold text with
normal text and all italics text with underlines?
Thanks for the help!

Use the replace function - you'll need to perform the two steps separately.

Find and Replace will do it. Click the More button on the dialog. Click the
Find field, click Format Font and select Bold. Click the Replace field,
click Format Font and select Regular. Similarly to convert italics to
underline.

Keyboard shortcuts also work he

1. For the first replace, in the "Find what" field (which you will leave
blank), press Ctrl+B; in the "Replace with" field (also blank), press Ctrl+B
twice (to get Format: Font: Not Bold).

2. For the second replace, use Ctrl+I in the "Find what" field and Ctrl+I
twice, plus Ctrl+U (Format: Font: Not Italic, Underline), in the "Replace
with" field.
