Word template opens to show header
How do I set my Word template so it does not open viewing header and footer?
I have to close the header and footer each time I start a document. |

Word template opens to show header
You won't see the header or footer in Normal view, so you could switch to
that view, but even if you're in Print Layout view, I suspect you aren't really "seeing the header" as you think. When you start Word, is the insertion point in a space with a dotted line around it marked "Header"? If not, you're not in the header.
