Default How do I modify my word template?

My word template always opens in "view header and footer." How do I change
it to open with view header and footer closed?

Hi ?B?MmJlYWdsZXM=?=,

My word template always opens in "view header and footer." How do I change
it to open with view header and footer closed?

Never known that to happen, at least, not without the help of a macro...

Which version of Word is this?

This is just the one file? Or also documents created from this file? How about
if you hold down SHIFT when opening the file?
