Default How do I copy auto correct entries from MSWorks to MSWord?

I have a ton of auto correct entries/short-cuts in my MSWorks that I want to
transfer to my MSWord without having to re-enter them all individually... How
can I do this?

Never having used the Works word processor, I'm surprised to learn that it
has an AutoCorrect feature. If you don't get help here, it might be better
to ask in the microsoft.public.works.win newsgroup.

Have you tried just using them?

I don't know about Works - and don't have it installed on this computer but
there are two types of AutoCorrect entries in Word. Formatted autotexts are
stored in Word templates. Plain text autotexts are stored in .acl files -
and are shared across other Office applications (I'm not sure which ones
altogether) and I just wonder if Works shares the same .acl files.

If that doesn't help I would follow Suzanne's advice and try asking in a
Works newsgroup.

Good thought, Tony. I'd forgotten about the sharing aspect. Though I'm still
dubious about Works sharing (though I'm wondering if this might be Word in
Works Suite).

I've just checked in Works (7) and I can find no mention of an Autocorrect
facility either in the menus or the help, so I think you're probably correct
that this is Word in Works Suite in which case the autocorrects should
presumably work as is in the (new) version of Word.
