In endnotes, search & replace and drag & drop seem not to work. Why?

Sometimes, you need to do a Find in the main text and also in the
notes (put the cursor in a note and click Find or Replace or Replace
All0 and it will report on how many changes it made in the notes.
(Sometimes, though, it seems to search the notes as well as the text,
but don't trust it to.)

Drag'n'drop doesn't work when various windows are open, such as Cross
Reference or several others (whether you're in the text or the notes).
