Default columns, how do you make the 2nd &3rd column not move down when t.

making a paper with 3 columns, I want to change something in the first column
and it makes the other 2 columns move down, how do i get this not happen?? I
don't do alot on the computer

Joyce,
That's what newspaper columns do be default.
Make a table with 3 columns instead that should give you some control. The
borders can be set to not display and print so you will have the impression
these are newspaper columns.
