Default The operator sign can't be displayed correctly in Word. Why?

Please help me to solve my problem. The equation can't be displayed correctly
in Word and PowerPoint. I can't see these symbols + =, etc. What is going
wrong? Thanks.

Is this in Word generally or using the Equation Editor?

I'm using the Equation Editor to write the equation, and the operators (+, -,
=, etc) are displayed correctly, but after I click Yes/Ok, the operators in
Word become black dot or another strange symbol.

Philip,

Your statement that you're clicking "Yes/OK" is puzzling to me. In
order for us to help you, we'll need to know which operating system
you're using, as well as the version of Word. Also, on which dialog are
you clicking "Yes/OK"?
