problem with Ms Office Word and Outlook
I am not quite sure that I understand your explanation correctly - but if I
do, I may be able to help you. Is the problem that Word opens with the e-mail header pane displayed (i.e. To, Cc, Subject, etc.)? If this is the case, you can toggle off the e-mail header pane as follows: Start Word. Select File Send to Mail Recipient or click the E-mail button on the Standard toolbar. Both commands are toggle commands, i.e. they can be used to toggle the e-mail header pane both on and off. Note: If the e-mail header pane is displayed in _all_ new documents you create, your Normal.dot template has somehow been saved with this setting. You will then need to locate and open Normal.dot, turn off the e-mail header pane and save and close Normal.dot. For information about Normal.dot, see this article: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Dakanali" wrote: Good afternoon, i need your help with the above problem. Dear Lene Fredborg,
My problem with Word 2003 is the below: I open the word and i am starting write my document and suddenly without to do nothing, when i am writing the document in another window opens the MS Outlook. This problem happens only when I work with the Word. With no other application. Please any ideas why does it happen? problem with Ms Office Word and Outlook
It might be that you are either clicking the E-mail button on the Standard
toolbar (unlikely) or inadvertently pressing Alt+D, M (which seems equally unlikely). You might want to check Tools | Customize: Keyboard to see if there is a keyboard shortcut assigned to FileSendMail (All Commands category). -- Suzanne S.
