Despite the fact that I am a techie (computer wizard), I can't figure
out for the life of me how to get Microsoft Word 2003 to display its
margins in the regular inches instead of points (pt). I don't know how
it got changed to pt, but I originally had it as inches, including in
page layout. Any advice on how to change this would be much
appreciated.

Are you sure they're points and not character units? See
