How do I eliminate the space before a paragraph at top of page?
When a paragraph starts at the top of a page, Word sometimes carries over the
blank line that separates paragraphs. How do I eliminate this line at the top of the page? |

Use spacing as part of your paragraph style rather than press enter twice.

It sounds as if you are pressing Enter twice to create a "blank line."
Unlike WordPerfect, Word does not suppress these empty paragraphs at the top of a page. It does, however, suppress Space Before at the top of a page. You can easily add 12 pts Space Before (the equivalent of a "blank line") by pressing Ctrl+0. For more exact settings, using the Format | Paragraph dialog. -- Suzanne S.
