Default Missing screen info

I have a Client with a problem with MS word (Office2000). The top part of
the screen (the lines Document 1 ..." and the toolbars) are missing so the
top of the screen is, literally the top of the page. Uninstalling and
re-installing makes no difference.

Can anyone suggest what may be the cause of this and, better still, suggest
a remedy.

Many thanks..

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm for the missing
Menu Bar and toolbars. But if the title bar is actually missing as well,
then either the document is in Full Screen view or a Normal window has been
pushed up off the edge of the screen (I believe this can sometimes happen
when screen resolution is changed). In this case, you can right-click on the
Taskbar button for the window, choose Move, and use the Down arrow key to
move it down.

Thanks for that. Yes the title bar is missing but as it shown with Excel I
thought it highly unlikely that screen resolution was the cause and this has
been proved.
Any further ideas please?

Thanks.

Did you try moving the window?
