Auto recovery does not save
I have recently lost a document. I have already turned on auto recover, set
a different folder to save it in and set the frequency for 1 min saves. Word is not automatically saving a "auto recover" file. Can anybody please help? |

Auto recovery does not save
Files saved by auto-recover are only available in the event of abnormal
program termination. If you close a document or Word without saving an open file, any changes made to that file will not be saved. I would suggest that you return the frequency of auto recover saves to something like the default 10 minutes so that the saving operation does not interfere with your work. -- Hope this helps.
