Word table: How do I know which cells have been merged?
I received a table that merged cells. I need to be able to sort, but can't
because of the merged cells. How can I tell which cells are merged? The table is huge, over 200 pages. |

Suggest you copy it into Excel, do the sort there, then copy it back to
Word. Excel is less fussy about such things. "Debbe" wrote in message ... I received a table that merged cells. I need to be able to sort, but can't because of the merged cells. How can I tell which cells are merged? The table is huge, over 200 pages. |

Do you find it so? I find that Excel won't sort if any cells have ever been
merged, even if the rows from which they came no longer exist. -- Suzanne S.
