Default Indent issue when copied from Excel

Good Morning,

I seem to be hitting a wall here.

I have a Excel worksheet set up for users to enter data on. Some of the cells
contain several lines of text broken up by blank lines.
Example:
"Document No: 344

From: Jon
To: Jane"

When i try to copy it over to Word and paste it into a numbered table, it
refuses to paste on the numbered line and instead pastes above it far left
justified.

Example:

.........1. random text
.........2. random text
Document No. 344

From: Jon
To: Jane
.........3.

where as it should look like this:

.........1. random text
.........2. random text
.........3. Document No. 344

.............From: Jon
.............To: Jane
.........4. random text

(Note: the use of '.........' is to represent indent)

Any suguestions?

If you want to provide users with a convenient way of entering data, use a
user form.

See the article "How to create a Userform" at:

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms/CreateAUserForm.htm

Entering data into Excel and then copying and pasting into Word is not the
way to do it.

Hope this helps.
