How can I create a fraction not already in autoformat?
I am trying to type a recipe using of course, fractions as measurements. 1/2
and 3/4 convert themselves to fraction form, however when I try to type 1/3 it does not convert, just stays the same as you see it here. Anyone else had the same dilema and solution? |

There are a number of fractions available in the Insert | Symbol dialog box
and 1/3 is one of them. If you select normal text on the left and number forms in the right box you should, hopefully, see them. You can also use the Character Map - Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Character Map. Hopefully this will help. -- Rae Drysdale "stacieh73" wrote: I am trying to type a recipe using of course, fractions as measurements. 1/2 and 3/4 convert themselves to fraction form, however when I try to type 1/3 it does not convert, just stays the same as you see it here. And then you can make AutoCorrect entries for those fractions so you
don't have to go through Insert Symbol again. On May 21, 2:31*pm, Rae Drysdale wrote: There are a number of fractions available in the Insert | Symbol dialog box and 1/3 is one of them.
