How to print sections when it is shaded out?
There are times when I have a document that is divided by sections, i.e. a
mail merge document (nametags/labels). As you know, after a merge, it divides the document into sections. I print the first page to see how it prints. Then I want to print 2-8, but it's in sections. Sections is shaded out in the print selection box. Can it be done? |

To print sections 2 to 8, type s2-s8 in the Pages box on the Print dialog. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...leSections.htm for more info. There is no "sections" item in the dialog, grayed out or otherwise. I think you're misreading the "Selection" item, which is enabled only if some text is selected. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
