The files you downloaded should include instructions on their use. These are
third-party add-ins, and Word has no Help on this subject. -- Suzanne S. Hi ?B?RGVlcGE=?=,
I have dloaded few dictionries from the internet. They are .exe files how do i incorporate them to MS word so that when i rightclik and look up the words from teh new dictionary gets included. I am using MS word 2000 If these aren't Microsoft files, then you'll have to discuss this with the service that provided the files. EXE files are executable files - programs. Most likely, these EXE files are supposed to install the dictionaries for you, but you'd better make very sure before you run them that they come from a reputable and trustworthy source. If not, they could destroy your data, your computer or send your private information (such as passwords) to "bad people". Word provides no interface for just letting you "plug in" dictionaries you've gotten from other sources. The exe files from this other source might do this for you, but you have to take it up with the source. What happens if you double-click on the .exe file in Windows Explorer? Does
it open the dictionary or run an installer? If the latter, there may be an option to integrate with Word. Does the dictionary claim that it integrates with Word? -- Suzanne S.
