word 2003 shows the paragraph sign when creating a letter ????
I can't get rid of the paragraph symbol when creating a letter It only
appears on the screen it is not printed Thanks for any help Darryl |

Darryl,
Have a look at your toolbar, you should see a button with the symbol on it somewhere - you may have have to hunt around if you've modified your toolbars, also Word may have hidden the button away for you if it hasn't been used in a while. This is a show/hide button for the paragraph marker, switch it either on or off depending on your preference.
