How do I stop the Reviewing toolbar from always displaying?
When I open most Word 2002 documents, the REVIEWING toolbar appears and I
have to manually remove it so I can get more viwing space on my screen. I don't want the REVIEWING toolbar to ever display in a Word document unless I want it too. Heck, I don't even use the toolbar all that much. It's very annoying. Also, if this can be done without a registry change, that would be best. Thank you! |

You will need to force it off with a macro i.e. you need an autoopen macro
in normal.dot containing the line CommandBars("Reviewing").Visible = False http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Strangefire wrote: When I open most Word 2002 documents, the REVIEWING toolbar appears and I have to manually remove it so I can get more viwing space on my screen.
