Outlook and Word 2003 questions
I just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003. I love some of the new
features, but others are very aggravating. If you can help, please reply. 1. Outlook 2003. When starting it asks for an LDAP server. I'm a home office user and dont have and LDAP server. How can I shut this request off. 2. Outlook 2003. Layout. I like the Outlook 2000 layout much better. It is less cluttered and more functional. How can I change the layout to the older style? 3. Word 2003. When viewing text, letters are displayed in a color that seems to be one shade grayer than black, or maybe the lines of the characters are thinner. In any case, I am having a difficult time reading them compared to Word 2000. Is there any way to fix this? 4. Word 2003. When editing a large document, every character I type makes the entire document bounce up and down about an inch as WORD tries to adjust paragraph size and placements. It is incredibly annoying to do anything simple like correct a spelling error. Is there any way to stop this? 5. Word 2003. When starting any document or exiting any document, I get pop-up error messages telling me macros are disabled. I re-enabled macros just to get rid of these annoying messages, but they still are popping up every time. How can I make them go away? Thanks for your help mwalsh @ nashuais.com |
