Default Maintaining Formatting When Copy and Pasting

How do you maintain the formatting you gave your Word file in when you copy
and paste it into a webform (on-line class)?

You don't. You can't.

The course management software I use supports some formatting in the
webform, but it depends on the webform, not Word.
