how do I restore the file menu? The word "file" no longer appear
Somehow the word "file" for menu item no longer appears. The menu line
starts with "edit". I can no longer click file and get a drop down for options such as print, print setup, etc |

You Rock!!!!!! I'm working on a novel and my paranoia was creeping to a new level. Thought I had a virus, ghost, etc. But you fixed it!!!
