Using cross references and hyperlinks - Word 2000
did you find an answer to the problem? i've got it also

I also have a large number of internal cross references as well as a hyperlinked TOC. I'm using hyperlink base for the the external links. Problem: clicking all the internal cross refs and the TOC pops the path to the hyperlink base. Is there any way I can have both internal cross refs and external hyperlinks work? I REALLY don't want to have to change those external links every time someone has a mind to reorganize the tree housing the external docs... TIA -- Barb |
