Word 2002. The originator gets an "access denied" message when he tries to

open a Word document embedded in another Word document. Are there any
settings that might prevent this? Any other suggestions? I need help fast!!

I'd check for third party software, such as anti-virus, file or desktop
management, that may be interefering with Word's normal functioning.
