Most (third party) image editors/viewers support TIFF (Tagged Image File Format).
If you have Windows XP, you can use the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to view TIFF files. For information about the Tagged Image File Format, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tagged_Image_File_Format One such program that can view TIFF files is called XnView. http://www.xnview.com/ I should note that third party programs (such as XnView in this case) is NOT developed or supported by Microsoft. Now if you were asking about MDI (Microsoft Document Imaging) format, then BOTH users WILL need Microsoft Office 2003. -- Please post all replies to the newsgroup for the benefit of others. Requests for assistance by email will NOT be acknowledged! "Kemp" wrote in message ... I have a document saved as TIFF file on a CD-RW. I currenly have MS Office 2003 on my computer.
