Default Is there a way to copy and paste tracked changes?

We have a very large document that contains redlines. We want to copy some
of the redlined portions and paste those portions into another Word document,
but we don't want to lose any of the redlines (tracked changes). Can this be
done? We don't think so, but it's a lot of work and we thought we would ask
first. Thanks
