Default Lock a picture

I have word XP and was wondering if there is a way to lock a graphic to keep
it from being selected? I sometimes have graphics that I need to place labels
over and if I am not exact I click on the graphic and it becomes selected.

Thanks

Hi ?B?RGln?=,

The only way, really, is to protect the document (as a form). This locks out the
drawing layer entirely. But it also restricts other editing features, as well.

You could try setting up the labels in a TABLE, and format the graphics "Behind
text"? That should protect them from casual "click and move".
