Keep table from breaking across columns
I have a two colum document that I have added text and tables using vba, if a
table is added close to the bottom of column 1 then the rest of the table shows at the top of column 2 - is there any way to have word keep the table together at the top of column 2? Any thoughts are appreciated! Jerry |

Jerry, select the entire table, hit Table--Properties, go to the Row tab
and UNcheck "allow row to break..." ************ Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "JWS315" wrote in message news I have a two colum document that I have added text and tables using vba, if a table is added close to the bottom of column 1 then the rest of the table shows at the top of column 2 - is there any way to have word keep the table together at the top of column 2? Keep table from breaking across columns
That will help, but it's also important to mark each cell *except the ones
in the last row* with "Keep with next". This is the same issue as the one discussed in http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFm...bleOn1Page.htm, which applies to breaking across columns just like breaking across pages. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Anne Troy wrote: Jerry, select the entire table, hit Table--Properties, go to the Row tab and UNcheck "allow row to break..." ************ Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "JWS315" wrote in message news I have a two colum document that I have added text and tables using vba, if a table is added close to the bottom of column 1 then the rest of the table shows at the top of column 2 - is there any way to have word keep the table together at the top of column 2?
