Selecting text and then typing does not delete selected text
I have WordXP. In the older version I could select text that was to be
deleted and and start typing new text, which would delete the old text. It doesn't work like that any more. I have to select the text, hit delete, and then type. I like the old way better because it saved a keystroke. |

Selecting text and then typing does not delete selected text
On the Tools menu, click Options. Click the Edit tab. Make sure that
