How do I turn off MS Word autoformating?
Please help!
I need to be able process a document without the frustrations of having MS Word auto format my document with undesired tabs, changed heading formats, and other miscellaneous auto format items that caused me to have to go back and take them out. I am currently trying to correct a document, however, when I hit "tab", the words in the sentence are converted to italics, changed to "Heading 2", and is bolded! I am in the Navy, and we have to use the required Navy writing format. Microsoft's Autoformating, though pretty, is making my life difficult. Please help me to be able to turn it off when it is not needed. Thank you. R/ Tim |
