Maintain Formatting Options
Our school has Windows XP Pro running among workgrouped network of computers
in a computer lab. The teachers in the lab want certain Word07 formatting options set as default for students' use. Students can also run a keyboarding program that can use Word07 for processing. Word's options stay set if only Word is used on a computer. If a student uses the keyboarding program, the formatting options are changed. It has been suggesting that the lab use Local Group Policies, multiple User Accounts, or separate computers. What would be the best choice to allow the lab to use any computer for any program and to maintain Word07's formatting options from student to student? Thanks for your help and response, jimwashere |
