I want to ignore the title page which is page 1 and have page number 1 start
on page 2. Is this possible?

Hi,

I usually separate my title page from the rest of the document with a
section break. Then, in the first page you want numbered, select "format
page number" in the footer, choose "start at", then "1". This should number
the page you're on at "1".

For this specific case *only,* check the box for "Different first page" on
the Layout tab of Page Setup. Leave the First Page Header/Footer empty,
insert your page number in the Header/Footer, and, in the Format Page Number
dialog, set the numbering to start at 0.
