Default Hyperlink for table of contents

I have created a table of contents and it does have hyperlinks attached to
each line in the table. However, when I clink on the link it doesn't
automatic move to the content. What could I be doing wrong?

Are you seeing a ScreenTip that says "Ctrl+click to follow link"? This is
the default in Word 2002 and 2003. You can change the setting on the Edit
tab of Tools | Options if desired.
