Default Is a table with diagonal column headings possible?

I am wondering if it is possible in Microsoft word to create a table where
the column headings would not be horizontal? They would be diagnal, as to
fit more words in one column.

This can be done in Excel but not Word. You can, however, rotate the text 90
degrees right or left in table cells.
